Boutique Uniquely on Etsy and Facebook

Wow, time has really gotten away from me here on the blog. I've been focusing so much on trying to build my Etsy shop that I have completely let go of this blog.

Above are some of the items I've been busily working on. Time is limited what with being almost 30 weeks pregnant and chasing my wonderful 17-month-old daughter around. I am constantly holding auctions and sales on Facebook in conjunction with several other fabulously talented boutique owners. You can find some of the sales and auctions on the Boutique Uniquely Facebook page, Crafters United, and The Crafter's Society.

I can still be contacted through blogger, by email, or on Facebook. I am working on getting the Google+ page set up for Boutique Uniquely. Yet another social media outlet to learn.... the joy of the 21st Century!

Finished - Two New iPad Sleeves

Two more pretty iPad sleeves finished and ready to ship. The photos aren't the greatest because it is STILL raining here. They will be listed for sale on Etsy whenever Mother Nature decides to stop this never-ending downpour. I can't take decent photos until we get some sunshine so listing them will have to wait.

These iPad sleeves are so fun to make. I kind of wish I had an iPad so I could have the yellow and gray one. I am in love with the combination of yellow and gray right now.

Getting closer to finishing the custom changing pad. Hope to have that done soon. That's all for today. I hope you have a nice rest of the weekend, and I hope it's nicer weather where you are.

iPad sleeves, quilted changing pads, and macbook sleeves, oh my!

My mom got here last Wednesday and I've been very productive since then. It is such a blessing to have her here to help. I don't know how moms of multiples do it. Chasing around a 15-month-old while pregnant is exhausting.

With my mom here to occupy Aubrielle so I can sew, I've been getting a lot done and I've been feeling pretty good about the future of Boutique Uniquely. I have been working on a few new iPad sleeves that I am in love with and I am working on a custom travel changing pad for a new baby girl.

I don't have pictures to show of my work because it's been raining every day this week and the light is terrible for taking pictures. I'm hoping for a break in the rain tomorrow so I can take some photos.

I also found out that this next baby will be a baby boy. His name is Brody, and I can't wait to meet him. July 27th is his expected due date.

I love reading this list below. It helps me stay creative.

Mouthy Stitches Swap Finished

My Mouthy Stitches Swap pouch is finally complete. It is all packaged, addressed, and ready to go in the mail on Monday. I am so glad it's done!

I hope my partner will love it. I am quite pleased with how it turned out. I really like the size and shape.



These scraps will also be headed my partner's way. I hope she enjoys playing with these as well. I am telling myself, "No swaps," for a few months. Although I enjoy creating something special for someone else, and I always receive such beautiful and thoughtful handmade masterpieces, I have to focus my attention on other things for the next few months. This was a fun swap and I'm so glad I participated. I can't wait to see which pouch is mine! There are so many beautiful pouches that I hope will be mine.
